Ostia Antica

As we landed in Rome, at the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, I had a beautiful view of Ostia Antica, a large archaeological site that was once the harbor of Ancient Rome, 4th Century BC. It sits at the mouth of the Tiber River which empties into the Tyrrhenian Sea.

LAX, Los Angeles International Airport, is a very busy airport with lots & lots of people.  It felt good to sit down, put my feet and RELAX before we left for Honolulu!

Waterfalls

Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaii

Each time we drive to Haena we drive thru the beautiful town of Hanalei. There is a lovely beach there and breath taking mountains with gorgeous waterfalls, particularly after rain. This day there were many waterfalls, because of all the rain we have had. Someone said, ‘it looks like the waterfall is coming out of the sky’. There are three waterfalls in this photo, can you see them?

Pretty Colors

At Xcaret, they have an area with butterflies.  There were lots of different types of butterflies and some were very interesting and pretty!
