My friend, Pam Taylor and I went and took photos of the birds at Farmington Bay. We saw some beautiful birds, particularly this one that flew close by me.
In January 2008 we took my dad to Waiourua Military Camp where he had served as a youngman of 18. He was so happy as we drove thru the streets, he enjoyed remembering those days.
I took this photo using a tripod and I did a 20 minute exposure, as I looked at the Southern Cross. I love the effect it gave! I took this on my cousin’s Dairy Farm, looking at Mount Egmont (Mount Taranaki) in January of 2008.
