Throughout Switzerland and France, we passed these beautiful fields of yellow! We’ve been trying to figure out what the plants are and with the help of the Internet we have come to the conclusion that they are either Rape Seed Plants or Canola Seed Plants and the oil is used for either Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil. So, there you go!

On our way to France we drove by the Bern Temple. The last time we were here (9 years ago) we went by the Temple so I could get a photo and I was so sad because it was under construction, they were putting Moroni on top. But now, finally I got it! Though it was a bit over cast and rained heavily as we drove thru France, I was able to get this lovely shot before the clouds let loose.

Como, Italy – 2016 – iPhone
It was a wet drizzly day in Merone, Italy, but that didn’t stop us! We drove to Como to find a friend we hadn’t seen in years. We weren’t sure if we’d find her, if the phone numbers we had would work. The first one didn’t but the second one did! She was as excited to hear from us as we were excited that we found her! She invited us to her home and we had such a nice visit! As we left, I ran up the stairs to look out a window, hoping for a view of Como and I found it! ENJOY!

We had a wonderful time with our friends Lorenzo Perticaroli, Lorenza Perticaroli & Emanuele Guidara! It rained while we ate lunch together so, when we went outside everything was fresh with the moisture from the rain! I took this photo of their olive grove and the beautiful view behind it, in Poggio Nativo, Italy.
