Thru the Wild Grass

Antelope Island is pretty barren, I thought it was pretty, though, looking thru the wild grass to The Great Salt Lake.

For any of you who have never had the experience of going in the Great Salt Lake or the Dead Sea, you have missed out!  It is a very interesting experience to lay back in the water and just float, yes, you really just float!  Thanks to my daughter and grandson for this fun photo!

Swimming Fun

Summer is such a fun time and swimming fun is one of my favorites!  I was just laying back and RELAXING when my grandson took off, so fun!

Fun Time

We had an awesome 4th of July and I hope you did, too!  Our family came for a barbecue and we had a fun time together.  The grandkiddies loved having their Uncle ‘Big Mike’ throw them into the water!   I just RELAXED, watched and took photos!

Hummingbird

While eating breakfast I watched a couple of hummingbirds as they were playing.  It was fun and even funner to get photos of them!

Wagon Wheels

I got up early this particular morning and went for a walk.  I think I covered the whole city of Bluff, Utah.  I loved the wagon wheels I saw on many of the fences.

On the Line

I took the opportunity when no one was around to sit on the line of New Mexico & Arizona while I looked at Utah & Colorado.  It was a very hot, but fun day!

Feet

We drove out into the boonies because there isn’t much out at Four Corners. There is a monument and booths where Indians sell their wears, many are homemade and they are pretty impressive!  I RELAXED and ENJOYED watching people stand on all four states at the same time, it was fun!

Roses

The roses at the hotel where we stayed in Bluff were beautiful!  I love all flowers, but roses are special!

Twin Rocks

There isn’t much in Bluff, Utah, only 350 inhabitants, but, they do have some pretty scenery, Twin Rocks, for example. It was fun to read the monument as we entered the town where it says, Established in 650 A.D.  This is Indian country.

Cactus

We walked around the stands where Native Americans where selling beautiful handmade items at Four Corners and along the way I looked at the flowers that were on the cactus.  Cactus are such interesting plants that collect moisture and use it as needed, they also produce awesome flowers!

We came to some construction on the road and we were at a standstill, so I got out of the car and took photos of this beautiful hill.  I loved the colors, the contrast of the greens, oranges, browns & blues!

Mary’s Garden

I went to a friend’s house for her granddaughter’s High School Graduation Celebration.  My friend, Mary, invited me into her garden, an English Garden and I had to sit, put my feet up and RELAX, it was so beautiful!

La La Land

I finally got to see La La Land, GREAT movie! It reminds me of an old movie with a modern fling! This was just the right place to put up my feet and RELAX & ENJOY the show!

I was with some friends when I saw a family of geese swimming along, I ran after them to get this photo, so fun!

Beautiful Snowy Mountains

I love looking out the airplane window and seeing what is below.  These mountains are beautiful covered with snow.  Even though it was April, there still was snow.

The Lion King

We went and saw The Lion King and it was absolutely awesome!  We saw it in London, England in 2004 and it was great then, but it seemed to be even better this time! I had to put my feet up and RELAX for a bit, before it began!!

Beauty & The Beast

I went with some of my grandchildren to see Beauty and the Beast and it was AWESOME! WOW, Disney did a GREAT Job! They loved the poster, so I thought I would put my feet up and RELAX & ENJOY!
