Hawaii Here We Come

I could hardly sleep the night before, because I was so excited to go on this trip to Hawaii!  We are going to Kauai, Maui and Ohau. I LOVE HAWAII!

I love Hibiscus and because of our weather you don’t see them here very often, particularly not large ones, these were gorgeous and big!

When I am out taking photos, many times, I carry with me a small spray bottle so when I want to give a fresh, new effect, I can spray water on a flower.  This water livens up the flower and adds so much!  Of course, natures way with rain drops  works the same and is better.  It had rained thru the night, as you can see by the rain drops on this hibiscus.

Our Next Adventure!

I put up my feet up and RELAXED as we were waiting for our next adventure to begin! And, here we go…stay tuned as to where it is we are headed!

Seagull

I thought I would walk to the beach.  Well, it was a lot further away than I thought, an hour and a half later I was there.  HA! HA!  I didn’t really notice the time because I was talking on the phone to three of my girl’s.  Once at the beach, I enjoyed every moment I was there and then had Craig pick me up to take me back to our hotel!

Lots of Pizza

Pizza Oven

One thousand degrees and our oven was ready to cook our pizza, then only a few minutes and it was done!

Salmon-Crested Cockatoo

We walked thru the Marriott, here in Lihue, and there was this beautiful Cockatoo.  It talked to people, saying ‘Pretty Bird’ and other things, but the funnest was when it said, ‘ALOHA’!

While on a rode trip we stopped to stretch and from above we watched rafters speeding by.  It was awesome, kinda wish I was with them on their journey!

Podiatry

Last November someone stepped on my toe and since then it hasn’t been growing right.  So, I went to the Podiatrist to find out what can be done.  Sadly, not a lot, but for now, he is checking for a fungal infection under the nail.  Now, I have a bandage on my left big toe until it is all better!

Pizza

The Star Valley Wyoming Temple grounds are beautiful and covered with a large variety of flowers.  Daisies are some of my favorite flowers!

String Lake

Grand Teton National Park; Moran, Wyoming

String Lake and Jenny Lake are both gorgeous!  I took photos of them and walked along the water.  The mountains are breath taking!  The beauty is unbelievable, with the gorgeous pines and majestic Grand Tetons!

We saw some fun waterskiing as we drove past Echo Reservoir on our way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

We were driving along when someone in our car spotted him, a moose.  We saw him in the water, there he ate, had a drink and then left the water.
