Wild Goat

Waimea, Canyon

We could see some Wild Goats in the distance and while I was taking photos of the canyon they came closer until they were right by us, just on the other side of a chain linked fence.  It was fun to watch them as they played, ate and looked at the beautiful view.

Walking By

Lots of people were walking by the Hawaiian Green Turtles out on the beach.  It is against the law to touch them and you are not suppose to get closer than 10′.  They are such awesome creatures!

We were in the ocean snorkeling and I took this photo looking back at the beach.  I guess this is what fish see when they look out of the water.

Beautiful Morning

It was a beautiful morning as I walked along the beach.  There were Hawaiian Green Turtles out resting on the beach and the sun & blue sky were peering thru the clouds!

This time to Hawaii we have seen a lot of Hawaiian Green Turtles.  In this photo you can see the one close to me and another across the lagoon on the other side of the beach.  They are fun to watch, though I do love to swim with them in the ocean!

After looking at the beautiful sunset I took the time to look at the four turtles that were sleeping on the beach.  It was pretty as the sun reflected on them and then this little guy looked up at me and ‘smiled’.

Sleeping

Poipu, Kauai, Hawaii

Hawaiian Green Turtles come onto the beach during the night and they sleep.  I am sure they are exhausted after swimming into waves all day!
