Alligators

Chelsea came with my friend Pam and I and we went on an airboat.  It was fun and exciting to see so many alligators.  There was the worry that the airboat would break down, HA! HA!  I love the name of this place!

Flying Across America

Looking out my window the scenery is much different from when we left England. The beautiful shades of green have been replaced by snow and ice. Even so, it has it’s own unique beauty!

Rushing Past Me

Snowfall

We went Timber Lakes and when we arrived there was no snow, by morning there was snow everywhere and throughout the day it deepened and deepened as the snow fell softly all around.  So, pretty!

It was fun watching these two turtles on the beach.  I wasn’t the only one watching them.  Others were walking past them and loving it, too!

Star Wars

WOW, I loved Star Wars!  There is something that really touches you as you see the words STAR WARS come up on the screen, with it’s powerful music!  I put my feet up and RELAXED for just minute and then the action began, I thought it was great!

Temple Square

One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is to go to Temple Square and see the Christmas lights.  It is very moving and draws me closer to my Savior as I reflect on Him and all He did for me!

It was a gorgeous sunset, as we watched it set over the Oquirrh Mountains. If you look closely you can see an airplane that just took off from the Salt Lake Airport. Can you see it?

A Christmas Carol

Last year we started a fun, Christmas Tradition, to take a different grandchild with us to Charles Dickens; A Christmas Carol.  This year it was at the new Hale Theatre and once again, it was wonderful!  Our grandson, who went with us, loved it.  I RELAXED and was all ready when the show began!

Frosty Day

It was a very frosty day with frost on everything that was outside!  I loved the frost on the Pine Trees!!

Winter Frost

We had a Winter Frost that lasted for a few days.  Frost covered everything.  I wanted to go outside and take a photo, but it was too cold.  I was so lucky that the frost last a few days, so I finally ventured outside and got some photos of it.

Blue Cardinal

Usually birds fly south for the winter, but after a recent snowfall I went outside to take some photographs of the snow and there were birds everywhere, flying, singing, chirping. They were all blue cardinals and they were very pretty. I hope they get where they need to be so they survive the winter!

Did you know that Hanapepe is the home of Lilo and Stitch?  Now you know!!

As we walked along the street in Hanapepe, I loved this scene with a bike, it seemed so Hawai’i with the Hawaiian shirts in the window, a palm tree and the outside plants.  Hanapepe is a charming, sleepy town that comes to life on Friday nights with food booths and lots of shopping.
