Rome, Italy
How overwhelmed and honored I am to be apart of this magnificent Temple. Dedicated March 10, 2019

Rome, Italy
I was off on a walk and look what I found, a Roman drinking fountain, in Italian a nasone or a fontanella. I was so excited that I had to show my family, so I made a video. We all laughed as I put my finger under the running water to have the stream of water come out, it did, and it hit me in the face.

Lucca, Italy
After a long, but great drive from Zagreb, Croatia, we made it to Lucca, Italy. Lucca is the birthplace of Craig’s grandfather. Lucca has an ancient wall, (completed in the 13th century) that surrounds it’s historic center, like all cities of it’s time, but this is one of the best preserved in Europe. In the 1800’s, the top of the wall was planted with trees and grass turning it into a huge park, it is a pleasant place to walk or ride a bike and it is the only wall in Europe where a car can drive all the way around the top of it. Lucca was founded by the Etruscans and became a Roman colony in 180 BC.

Gothenburg, Sweden
When we arrived in Gothenburg 2 1/2 months ago, it was cold and rainy, now it is still rainy, though not quite as cold! So, once again I put my feet up and RELAXED! Having said all that, the next day it was sunny and warm and the figure on the horse, yes the statue, had a scarf on!

Åmål, Sweden
We were only in Norway a few days, not long enough! It is a beautiful country and we look forward to returning someday and exploring other areas! We returned to Sweden, the last leg of our amazing journey! We stopped and ate dinner in a small town, Amal, which has a lot of refugees. Our waiter was a Kurd. We saw this beautiful view, looking thru the trees at Lake Vanern.

Oslo, Norway
We took a city tour of Oslo and saw some cool things and strange things. We went to Vigeland Sculpture Park which is within Frogner Park and has over 200 statues by Gustav Vigeland. The weird thing is that all the bronze and granite statues are naked. So, because of that I won’t be showing many, but I did get this photo showing a grandma type figure consoling a young man and behind them are a man and women enjoying a conversation.
