Relaxing at Stonehenge

I had to sit and RELAX and think of the past and those who built Stonehenge. There are so many unanswered questions! Who were they? Why did they built it and how did they without our modern equipment? We may never know! When we visited years ago we could walk around the rocks. I was a bit disappointed this time that we are kept back, but preservation is important and it’s much easier to take photos without a ton of people in the photo!  Notice my new flipflops!

We spent a few days driving around England and Wales taking photos of churches and gravestones where Craig’s family came from.  Here, with the sun rays touching me, I RELAXED with some of his relatives (ancestors).

Epsom Downs

Epsom Downs is the premier horse racing track in the British Isles.  So, I thought I would sit and RELAX while waiting for the races to begin!  Here come the horses! Oh, and yes I am sitting right where they race, on the grass!  The weather is beautiful and no flipflops because the only pair I have with me, broke!

Relaxing at Hampton Court

We had a wonderful time at Hampton Court today! As you can see the weather was beautiful and the gardens gorgeous, so I had to sit down and RELAX! What a huge massive palace, where King Henry VIII once lived!

Relaxing at the Crossing

Kingston Upon Thames, England

After a great lunch with a dear friend, Ilaria Silli, we walked around Kingston Upon Thames.  It is a beautiful city with the River Thames going thru it.  Here I decided to take a rest and put my feet up!  Off to the right is Bentalls, a huge department store, it’s actually more of a mall and a big one at that!  I love all the red buses coming my way!

What a great walk and I found this pretty lake! It said: PRIVATE LAKE, NO SWIMMING, NO FISHING, but it didn’t say NO RELAXING, so I put my feet up, RELAXED & ENJOYED it!

RELAXING AT KING’S CROSS STATION BEFORE HEADING OUT ON THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS

We had a wonderful tour of The Making of Harry Potter. It is the actual set where for 10 years the Harry Potter movies were made. It’s also a museum full of props, models, designs and costumes from the movies! About half way thru I was getting a bit tired so I decided to take a seat and relax before heading off on the Hogwarts Express!

After an awesome concert at Royal Albert Hall, we walked over to Harrods, a huge department store. At one point, I thought it was time to RELAX, so I put my feet up and ENJOYED London, England!

One of the many tunnels we went thru on the road to Rome! Tunnels are fun, but you don’t want to hold you breath while going thru this one, 2 1/2 miles!

Ponte Delle Catene

We went to the city that Paola is from, Bagni di Lucca, a very quaint, pretty village nestled in the mountains.  I walked across the Bridge of Chains (Ponte Delle Catene) and there was a chair waiting there for me to RELAX on.  I sat down and waited, soon enough a bike came along, there is nothing like a bike, a bridge and relaxing all together!
