It had rained early in the morning and as I went for my walk I was greeted by this beautiful rainbow spreading across the Pacific Ocean.  Just like with our lives, the storms come and then the rainbows cross our paths.

Los Angeles California Temple

We had a very enjoyable day at the Los Angeles Temple, where we spent sometime with the President of the Temple and the Matron, they are wonderful!

The Los Angeles Temple was dedicated on March 11, 1956.

Ride Bike; Charge Phone

Long Beach, California

This is awesome, you can ride a ‘bike’ and charge your phone while waiting for your flight.  What a great way to exercise before you sit for hours on a plane!!  This was the perfect place for me to RELAX before I actually did get on the bike, charge my phone and exercise.

Miniature Golf

It was a very hot day as Craig and I went miniature golfing.  It was fun, but in the heat, I needed to sit and RELAX!

Table Rock Lake Island

We took a cruise on Table Rock Lake, it was on the Branson Belle Showboat, it has a paddle wheel and was a lot of fun! We ate dinner and had a show on board, as well. Everything was great!

Beautiful Falls

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Lampe, Missouri

These acreages of wild life are located in Missouri & Arkansas and they were purchased in 1990 by Johnny Morris, founder & CEO of Bass Pro Shops. It is now managed by the Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the canyon’s natural plant and wildlife environment. Craig and I spent the day at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park and it was beautiful!  We rode in a tram thru the 10,000 acres of paradise.  There we saw wild life, waterfalls and the beauties of the earth.  I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for this beautiful world!

White River

College of the Ozarks

Point Lookout, Missouri

College of the Ozarks is a private Christian liberal-arts college, overlooking Lake Taneycomo. It has free tuition and originally began giving education to the children who lived in the country (Hillbillies) and continues to do the same, today.  The students work on the campus, milking cows, gardening, mowing lawns, working in the restaurant or cleaning, wherever they are needed.  I think the idea is awesome!    It is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.  I love this photo with a bell, cross and flag in it.

Branson Landing

Branson, Missouri

Branson Landing is a beautiful area with stores & restaurants with the White River running thru it, though some say it is actually Lake Taneycomo a finger lake.  This was the best place to sit and RELAX as a water-skier went by.

The grandkids were so excited to go swimming and so were the big kids!  This was the perfect place for me to put my feet up, RELAX and ENJOY LIFE!

Canopy of Trees

Koloa, Kauai, Hawai’i

I love this tree tunnel near Poipu, on the island on Kauai. On our way to and from Poipu we drive thru this Tree Tunnel. Some days it is raining, other days you can see the blue sky thru the trees. It is a fun place and I love taking photos when there is little traffic. This Tree Tunnel has rows of Eucalyptus Trees that were planted about 150 years ago by sugar king Walter McBryde. LOVE IT!

Hamilton New Zealand Temple

Hamilton, New Zealand

When I was a child, from the age of 3 – 6, I lived just to the left and down the hill from this beautiful Temple.  Though I was young when we left New Zealand, looking at this photo brings back wonderful memories and joyous feelings of my childhood.  The Hamilton Temple was dedicated on April 20, 1958 and I was there.  This beautiful edifice is a Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  To find out more about Temples please visit:  https://www.mormon.org/beliefs/temples
