Looking At Me
Mormon Row, Wyoming
We had a wonderful time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with our dear friends Pam & Milt Taylor, THANKS for the invitation to go! They took us to a place called Mormon Row, not far from Jackson Hole, an area that was settled by Mormon Settlers. While driving thru the area we saw this herd of Buffalo coming towards us and so we whipped out our cameras. I love this shot with a Buffalo looking at me and a baby Buffalo behind it.

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Jamie, (my daughter) and I planned a fun trip to go and see her husbands grandparents in Idaho. The night before some of her children were ill, so I had to decide do I still go with Chelsea or cancel the trip. I decided to go for it. Chelsea and I ended up having a wonderful trip to Idaho and then to Wyoming where we drove thru Yellowstone Park. While driving thru we saw a lot of Buffalo. Cars were stopped all over and people were outside their cars trying to get the perfect shot!

Baby Calves
Inglewood, New Zealand
We had a wonderful trip to New Zealand, we stayed at my cousin’s on their dairy farm. On New Year’s Day I went for a walk and took some fun photos. These baby calves were so curious, they came to see what I was doing! Mt. Taranaki or Mt. Egmont is in the background. Yes, it is a volcano.

Sky Tower
Auckland, New Zealand
My mom was born in Auckland, New Zealand, so I love going there and thinking of her. In 2007 we had a wonderful trip to New Zealand and we went up in the Sky Tower. I am not one that likes heights, so I was very nervous, but the view was amazing! The Sky Tower was completed in 1997.
The Pohutukawa tree, in the foreground, is a native New Zealand tree, also called the Christmas tree because it blooms just before Christmas and until mid-January.

Farfalla Bianca
La Farfalla di Rosa
Camerata Nuova, Italy
We went up into the mountains north of Rome with some friends and there, in 2007, we had a wonderful time at our friend’s cabin, Enrico & Letizia. At one point we all went for a walk, it was gorgeous! Amongst the trees were these beautiful butterflies, tiny and very small. My friend Rosa, put one on her hand, so I call this one, La Farfalla di Rosa (Rosa’s Butterfly).

Bald Eagle
Farmington Bay, Utah
My friend, Pam & I went out to Farmington Bay, back in 2007. We saw lots of Bald Eagles that day. As we were crossing a bridge, all of a sudden, there were a bunch of Bald Eagles who flew out from under it. This Eagle fell into the water, as it was hit by some of the other Eagles, in their panic. It swam, using it’s wings like arms, to the side and after a little while it took off, with water dripping off of it. It was fascinating to watch!

Bald Eagle
Bald Eagles Perched
Farmington Bay, Utah
Around Valentine’s Day, each year, I go to Farmington Bay where I photograph the migratory birds. I never know from year to year what I will see. In 2006 I was pleasantly surprised to see tons of Bald Eagles. This tree was covered, so fun! How many Bald Eagles can you see? Oh…HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!
