Baltimore, Maryland
We were driving along the freeway as the sun was setting over Baltimore. I grabbed my camera and took this photo with the setting sun behind a mountain, or is it? I showed it to our son, Benjamin and he knew right away what it was, because he knows there are no mountains in Baltimore. What is it? Well, it is a type of mountain, a mountain of salt ready for the winter.

The sun was setting so I walked out by the beach. There were lots of people there waiting for the perfect sunset. It didn’t come so everyone left, except for me and one other man, who remained looking out at the sky.
I have learned thru the years that there are many stages to a sunset and even though the sun maybe below the horizon beauty can still shine forth and this evening was a perfect example of that. It definitely was worth the wait!

We had a wonderful walk with our friends Marlies and Helmut Werner thru the quaint and beautiful streets of Luxembourg. After awhile it was time for a rest, so I put my feet up and RELAXED in front of these beautiful cascading waterfalls.

We drove for about an hour and a half from Zagreb Croatia and we went to the most awesome waterfalls at the Plitvice Lakes National Park! When we talked to our friend, David Grant, the night before, he was telling us about these waterfalls and drawing a map on his whiteboard, I asked him where the waterfalls were and he replied, everywhere, they are everywhere! And, they are! They are so beautiful, they are breathe taking! These are the largest and they are called the Large Waterfalls.

One day we decided to go for a ride, I was with my dad and step-mother, so we drove to Lihue via the country back roads. Upon returning to Poipu I could see cars all over as we came down a slight hill. We were surrounded by trees so I couldn’t see what was happening but then, we came out of the trees and to my delight there was a full rainbow. We pulled over and I put my wide angel lens on my camera and I took this beautiful photo and just in time because it started raining!
