Roman Drinking Fountain

I was off on a walk and look what I found, a Roman drinking fountain, in Italian a nasone or a fontanella.  I was so excited that I had to show my family, so I made a video.  We all laughed as I put my finger under the running water to have the stream of water come out, it did, and it hit me in the face.

Bingham Copper Mines

Bingham Canyon, Utah An early flight to Los Angeles showed us a beautiful view of Bingham Copper Mines also known as Kennecott Copper Mines, as the rising sun shone upon it.

Hale Theater does awesome shows and Wait Until Dark didn’t disappoint! I had to RELAX and put my feet up before the show started!!

I took my friend Collette, who was visiting from South Africa, on the Alpine Loop to see the Fall colors and they were stunning!  She loved it!

Giant Palm Leaf

We were waiting for our table at Duke’s in Lihue, when my husband pointed out this giant palm leaf to me.  It’s shades of green were beautiful as the sun shone from behind!

The Hawaii Temple was dedicated on November 27, 1919.  It is a beautiful Temple, in a gorgeous setting!

From the Punchbowl (The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific) there is a beautiful view of Honolulu, that looks out to Diamond Head.

As I was going on a walk with my cousin, Raewyn, we saw a Cattle Egret and I wanted a photo of it. I started shooting just as it flew way, I was glad I got this photo.

Hawaiian State Flower

I learned today that yellow & red are the Royal Colors of Hawaii and this Yellow Hibiscus is the State Flower of Hawaii. Beautiful!!

Spreading Across the Pacific Ocean

It had rained early in the morning and as I went for my walk I was greeted by this beautiful rainbow spreading across the Pacific Ocean.  Just like with our lives, the storms come and then the rainbows cross our paths.

LAX, Los Angeles International Airport, is a very busy airport with lots & lots of people.  It felt good to sit down, put my feet and RELAX before we left for Honolulu!

We had a very enjoyable day at the Los Angeles Temple, where we spent sometime with the President of the Temple and the Matron, they are wonderful!

The Los Angeles Temple was dedicated on March 11, 1956.

Airplanes have always amazed me.  As we were getting our rental car in Los Angeles, I watched as planes flew over us.  The power they have and the ability they have to fly thru the air and around the world is awesome!
