Zion National Park, Utah
I have been to Zion National Park many times but never in the winter. This time it was so beautiful with the contrasting white snow and red rock!

Last Fall, while visiting Boston, we walked the 2 1/2 mile Freedom Walk. It is a physical brick line that passes many historic sites. It was educational, inspiring and wonderful, as we gained a greater appreciation for our country. I highly recommend the Freedom Trail if you are ever in Boston!

The USS Constitution is the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat, launching in 1797. In 2016 we were able to walk around the USS Constitution while she is in dry dock and as skilled people work to restore her. As we walked around I thought, if only she could speak, what stories she could tell!

The Old State House is a historic building that was built in 1713, it was the seat of the Massachusetts General Court until 1798, and is one of the oldest public buildings in the United States. Last year when we visited Boston we passed it as we walked along the Freedom Trail. This photo shows the old surrounded by the new.
