Love the Waves

I could sit all day long and watch the waves as they come in.  This was the perfect place to sit, RELAX and watch!

Cattle Egert

As we walked along I saw a couple Cattle Egert’s, which you see all over Kauai.  This one waited for me to take it’s photo, so I did, then it flew away.  I think they are beautiful birds, they have an elegance about them!

Watching Surfers

After walking for a long time, I sat and RELAXED as I watched surfers try to catch the perfect wave.

We went for a walk this afternoon and I found many places to RELAX and ENJOY the view!  Here I ENJOYED watching the waves break against the lava rock.

We ended up getting to a much earlier church meeting than planned, so we didn’t eat until after.  Tom’s a great cook, so he made brunch, this yummy Spinach, Mushroom Omelet with Cantaloupe.  It was delish!

Just outside our room are banana trees, they look so yummy and we are tempted to pick them!

It was a beautiful morning, as I RELAXED on our Lanai, just as a rooster past by.

After a nice swim, I laid on the lounge chair and looked up thru the Palm Trees and thought what a great photo that would be, so I took one!  The rainbow and colors are fun with the sun coming thru the palms!

The pools at Poipu are the perfect place to RELAX and ENJOY LIFE, so, I put my feet up and looked out at the Palm Trees and the TIKI & I RELAXED!!

I LOVE walking along the beach and coming across a Hawaiian Monk Seal, they are so gorgeous and fun to watch. This one sat up and posed just for me! LOVE IT!

 

Landing

On our way to Kauai, Hawaii, we landed at LAX. Freeways are always busy there, but today they are beautiful as we land. I yelled out HI to our daughter, Ashley and her husband, Michael!

Preparing for our Next Trip

I went and got my nails done as I was preparing for our next trip. I told Young, who has done my nails for a long time, to smile, so I could take a photo of my feet with her in it, she follows me on Instagram so she knew what that meant and she moved out of the photo, I told her no, I want you in it, so I got this photo of my feet with Young in it, as she giggled! This was the perfect place for me to RELAX!!
