Taranaki holds a special place in my heart because my dad was born close to it and he could see it from his home, growing up.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007 we went with my dad, Derek and my step-mom, Sonja and with some of our children, (Ashley, Benjamin &amp; Chelsea) to New Zealand. \u00a0This was the first time any of my children had been to where I was born.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>This photo was taken from Pukekura Park, a beautiful park to walk thru, looking at Lake Mangamahoe. \u00a0Mt.
