Iguana

There were two Iguana’s near us, or I should say, we saw two Iguana’s near us, who knows how many more were in the bushes.  There are a lot of them in this part of the world!  Surprisingly, they say that Iguana’s are very intelligent, considering the size of their brains. Iguanas can be toilet trained, learn tricks, and even find their way home when lost.

Posing

Cancun, Mexico

You see Iguanas all over in this part of Mexico.  I was walking along the beach and there were two right there, so glad I didn’t step on them!!

Two of Them

Cancun, Mexico

Yes, there were two Iguanas on the beach as I walked along.  I am so glad I didn’t step on them!  Notice the one in the foreground, he wasn’t happy that I came along!

One thing that you see a lot of in this part of Mexico, are Iguana’s.  There are many varieties, some with pretty colors and others that just blend into their surroundings.  They seem pretty harmless, though I wouldn’t get too close!
