Clock and Crosses

Esher, England

Christ Church Esher is very typical of the churches one sees in England.  A clock on the main steeple & different crosses on the tops, beautiful as they reach to the sky.

Church yards can be amazing, particularly in Europe where their cemeteries are located in the yard of the church.  I loved walking around this church yard, looking at some of the interesting grave stones.

Little Ben

After seeing WICKED, an awesome play, we walked to a restaurant for dinner and passed this really cool clock at Victoria Station.  It is situated close to the theater where HAMILTON is playing.  Sadly, HAMILTON is booked out and has been for months.  A few days after taking this photo, we were on a tour of London and the cab driver, Michael, told us that the name of this clock is Little Ben.  It was erected in 1892 and was a gift from France. It mimics the famous clock tower, Big Ben.

Cabbies

British cabbies are clean, sparkling, fun and unique.  The majority are plain black, yet others have bright colors with ads on them.  We walked by this line of cabbies, waiting for customers to wave them down.

Two Flags; Two Bikes

Landing; London Heathrow Airport

Richmond, England

We flew down thru lots of clouds and finally we came out of them to see rainy England below.  We flew over the River Thames and across Richmond on to Heathrow.  I have never been to England at this time of year, so I am excited to see what it is like!

Rushing Past Me

Snowfall

We went Timber Lakes and when we arrived there was no snow, by morning there was snow everywhere and throughout the day it deepened and deepened as the snow fell softly all around.  So, pretty!

Walking Past Turtles

It was fun watching these two turtles on the beach.  I wasn’t the only one watching them.  Others were walking past them and loving it, too!

Star Wars

WOW, I loved Star Wars!  There is something that really touches you as you see the words STAR WARS come up on the screen, with it’s powerful music!  I put my feet up and RELAXED for just minute and then the action began, I thought it was great!

Temple Square

One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is to go to Temple Square and see the Christmas lights.  It is very moving and draws me closer to my Savior as I reflect on Him and all He did for me!
