Mormon Row, Wyoming
We had a wonderful time in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with our dear friends Pam & Milt Taylor, THANKS for the invitation to go! They took us to a place called Mormon Row, not far from Jackson Hole, an area that was settled by Mormon Settlers. While driving thru the area we saw this herd of Buffalo coming towards us and so we whipped out our cameras. I love this shot with a Buffalo looking at me and a baby Buffalo behind it.

New Plymouth, New Zealand
As my dad and I were flying from Auckland, New Zealand to New Plymouth, I was really disappointed when I heard the stewardess announce over the intercom that we wouldn’t be landing in New Plymouth because it was fogged in and that we’d be flying into Wanganui and then bused up to New Plymouth! I was disappointed because we had family waiting at the airport for us and we were anxious to see them, but I was also disappointed because I was hoping to get a photo of Mt. Taranaki as we flew into land. A short time later I looked out at the fog and was amazed at what I saw! The perfect shot of Mt. Taranaki sticking up through the clouds!

The Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Announced – July 28, 1847 ~ Dedicated – April 6, 1893
My friend, Liz Freeman, asked me to come to her home and take photographs of the Salt Lake Temple from her balcony. She wanted a photo of the Salt Lake Temple before the building behind it, a condo, sold out and had it’s lights come on. You can see it behind the Temple, the dark patch.

My brother-in-law is a pyrotechnical. It is so fun to go to his children’s wedding receptions, because there are Fire Engine’s there, waiting for the fireworks at the end. He does a great job! I took these photos (combined into this one) of some of his fireworks in 2010 of our Independence Day Celebration (July 4th). I LOVE FIREWORKS!

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Jamie, (my daughter) and I planned a fun trip to go and see her husbands grandparents in Idaho. The night before some of her children were ill, so I had to decide do I still go with Chelsea or cancel the trip. I decided to go for it. Chelsea and I ended up having a wonderful trip to Idaho and then to Wyoming where we drove thru Yellowstone Park. While driving thru we saw a lot of Buffalo. Cars were stopped all over and people were outside their cars trying to get the perfect shot!

China
On a trip to China in 2008, we took a cruise up the Yangtze River. Some of the highlights were; going up the locks to the top of the dam, after a good nights sleep, watching the sunrise on the river and meeting the wonderful Chinese people! It was an awesome adventure!
