As Fall is upon us, I am thinking of Spring. I love this photo I took back in April of 2005. The Salt Lake Temple took 40 years to build and is a symbol of the love those early, dedicated members of the 1800’s had, giving so much to their time, talents and resources to their Lord and God!
Photo taken with my Canon 20D camera.

A statue representing womanhood and women’s role in raising children sits on Temple Square. It is of a young woman dancing with children, here in front of the Salt Lake Temple.

Because of the amount of snow the Uinta Mountains get, you can’t get up to Mirror Lake until the summer. In July of 2004 I took a friend up there. The higher we climbed the worse the weather got, until it was raining really hard. Even so, it was still gorgeous and the boat in the photo just added to it.

In 2004 I took a photography class and one of our assignments was to take a photo using light. I was in Denver during that week, visiting our son and his family, and so I wasn’t able to get my assignment done, until I returned home and as we landed I looked out the window and took this photo of our landing. My teacher really liked it!
