Bald Eagles Perched

BRE5d-0206.(4157).60+Farmington Bay, Utah

Around Valentine’s Day, each year, I go to Farmington Bay where I photograph the migratory birds. I never know from year to year what I will see. In 2006 I was pleasantly surprised to see tons of Bald Eagles. This tree was covered, so fun! How many Bald Eagles can you see? Oh…HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!

We spent the day at the Atlanta Aquarium back in 2005 and it was wonderful! The Atlanta Aquarium was the largest aquarium in the world until 2012. I loved taking photos of these Beluga Whales!

We were watching a play along the banks of the Mississippi River, back in 2005 and I turned to look at the sunset, it was gorgeous, sadly I left the play to get this photo.  :^)

The Salt Lake Temple

TESL48fa-0405.+Salt Lake City, Utah

As Fall is upon us, I am thinking of Spring.  I love this photo I took back in April of 2005.  The Salt Lake Temple took 40 years to build and is a symbol of the love those early, dedicated members of the 1800’s had, giving so much to their time, talents and resources to their Lord and God!

Photo taken with my Canon 20D camera.

Sunset on the Oquirrh Mountains

What a beautiful view of a gorgeous sunset we had.  I could see the sky was changing color as the sun set over the Great Salt Lake. So, I hurried outside and up the hill behind our house. And, this is what I saw as the sunset on the Oquirrh Mountains.

Back in 2004 we went to Denver to visit our son’s family.  On the 4th of July he took us to his work office where we had a beautiful view of the fireworks.  I sure hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July, CELEBRATE this great land!!

Mirror Lake

bo1d-0704-mirrorlake-60Uinta Mountains, Utah

Because of the amount of snow the Uinta Mountains get, you can’t get up to Mirror Lake until the summer.  In July of 2004 I took a friend up there.  The higher we climbed the worse the weather got, until it was raining really hard.  Even so, it was still gorgeous and the boat in the photo just added to it.
