WAIKOLOA BEACH, Hawaii, Hawaii
I was walking along the beach and found this already made, it was just waiting for me to take it’s picture!
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Hawaii
After snorkeling in a man made fish pool, that was really cool and had large fish in it and you knew you were safe, I decided, as we returned to the beach, to go into the ocean and see what there was. I am so glad I did. I hadn’t been in the ocean for very long when a couple called me over, there was a Hawaiian Green Turtle, I got some fun photos of him.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Hawaii
We have been to the island of Hawaii before and we stayed in Hilo, the wet side, this time we stayed on the dry side, just north of Kona. It has lava fields where lava came down to the sea in the 1800’s. Not much grows there now, except for where resorts & businesses have gone in and removed the lava. Having said all that, it still has it’s own kinda beauty!
Kona, Hawaii, Hawaii
I LOVE the setting of this Temple, it is gorgeous surrounded by Palm Trees. We spent some time in Kona in 2016 and I was able to take this photo. The Kona Temple was dedicated on January 23, 2000 and is one of 155 Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where it’s members are married not just ‘until death do they part’, but for Time and All Eternity! FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!!

Honolulu to Kona
We had a beautiful view of the island of Lanai, (I couldn’t quite get the whole island in, but I got most of it) as we flew to Kona, Hawaii (The Big Island). In the background is Maui, you can see Haleakalā peeking thru the clouds at the top on the right.
