Chelsea came with my friend Pam and I and we went on an airboat.  It was fun and exciting to see so many alligators.  There was the worry that the airboat would break down, HA! HA!  I love the name of this place!

After another fun day at Universal Studios we were given a beautiful good-bye, as the sunset over Hogwarts on the left and Hogsmeade on the right.

Butterbeer

ENJOYING a RELAXING moment at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Orlando.  The Butterbeer was delicious, as you can see mine is all gone!  It was a popular wizarding beverage described as tasting “a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch”, and that is true!

Pelican Flying By

While our husbands went to Cape Canaveral, my friend Pam and Chelsea and I took a cruise out into the Fort Pierce Inlet, it was beautiful.  As we went along a Pelican came flying past us, luckily I had my camera in my hand!

Universal Studios

Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida is really big and a lot of fun! We spent a few days there and we still didn’t get to everything! This was the perfect place to put my feet up and RELAX!

Lizard

This photo is for my grandsons and a couple granddaughters, too!  HA! HA!  So, I like the name Gecko, but I think they are use that name more in Hawaii, this is a lizard and they are all over Florida.  They are small, fast and seem to be curious, too, they will watch you and see how close you will get to them and then they are off.

I LOVE old cars and so it was fun to sit and RELAX with my feet up and look at these cars that brought back a lot of memories from my childhood!  We had a wonderful time at Universal Studios, such a fun place!

Watching People

I find it fascinating to watch people and today was no exception.  It was a beautiful, warm day at Universal Studios, but it was time to put my feet up, watch those going by and RELAX!

Awesome Ride

I loved taking this photo!  The trick was to get the least amount of people in front of me but still get the people on the ride!  There are actually two cars going, one at the top and one on the bottom.  Universal Studios was a busy place this day, so getting this photo without too many people in front of me was a challenge, but worked!  Yes, I did take a ton of photos!  And, I would rather RELAX and take photos of my feet than go on a ride like this!

Blue Man Group

Our friends, Milt & Pam, had been to the Blue Man Group before, we hadn’t, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.  Before it started I put my feet up and RELAXED while people down the front and to the right of us put on Rain Ponchos, ok this will be interesting!  And it WAS and it was GREAT and Chelsea LOVED it!!  Very entertaining!

Sunsetting over Hogwarts

We had a wonderful time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter which is in two parks, Diagon Alley is at Universal Studios and Hogsmeade is at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, it is amazing!  As we were leaving we looked back to see the sunsetting over Hogwarts Castle to the left and Hogsmeade to the right, what a great good-bye!

Popeye the Sailor Man

As we walked thru Universal Orlando we saw some fun things.  I loved this statue of Popeye, because it brought back a lot of memories of my childhood when I watched Popeye, Olive Oyl, Bluto & others, fun times!  Do you remember watching Popeye the Sailor Man?

Hogwarts Express

As we waited for our turn on the Hogwarts Express, at Universal Orlando, we passed piles of suitcases, waiting for those traveling far and wide.

Harry Potter attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Universal Studios has built it, making it into a very fun ride.  I  was hesitant to go on it at first, because I don’t like roller coasters, but it isn’t like that, it is more of a simulator type of ride.  Thanks to my daughters who were texting me and encouraging me to go on it, knowing my fears, I did and I loved it!  I am amazed at how they, (the creators of these rides) can make you feel like you are right there, flying on a broomstick above & around Hogwarts!  This is a ride I highly recommend, it was so fun.  We did get to go on it a number of times, though the wait was long at times, it was worth it!

The Moon

As I was going for my morning walk I looked up and thru the trees I could see the moon, LOVE IT!!

Hogwart Express

At Universal Studios, if you want to go from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade (which is in Islands of Adventure) at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you take the Hogwart Express.  It is a short ride, but it is a ride, a train ride with scenes out the window of London and ‘Harry Potter’ type things and it is fun.  If you ever go on the Hogwart Express, make sure you ride both directions because even though the background scene of London is the same, the foreground changes.  We enjoyed the trip from Hogsmeade to Diagon Alley a little bit better.  This was the perfect place to put my feet up and RELAX!!

Diagon Alley

We had a wonderful day at Universal Studios and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is awesome!  We ate in Diagon Alley, which is mainly shops and restaurants.  A dragon sits atop Gringotts Bank and every so often he shoots out flames, so I waited & waited and got this shot, it was worth the wait!

Pineapple Fountain

We spent the day at Universal Studios and as we entered I saw this Pineapple Fountain, I love it, so ENJOYED taking this photo of it with water coming down.  I love the palm trees in the background.
