On our tour of Copenhagen in 2016, Steve took us to Kristina. My dear friend Allie, told me, when she learned that we were going to Denmark, about this statue of 16 year old Kristina. She is looking out to the harbor and represents all the immigrants from Denmark who left their homes, for their new found religion, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in America. Kristina sailed with her family to their new home, looking forward and not back. It is a very moving statue and one realizes the sacrifices they made to leave all for the unknown, what faith they had to have!

We had a long walk today, about 6 miles, so it was nice to just sit and RELAX for a bit!

We were crossing the Golden Gate Bridge as the sun was setting and I saw some bicyclists ahead of us, so I start shooting, I got this photo which I have always loved!

My daughter-in-law took me out for a photo shot, one day.  We had so much fun and we spent a lot of time photographing Tai O, a fishing village.

We had a wonderful walk around Gothenburg in the Spring of 2016.  The canal, the spring flowers were so gorgeous!

We loved our time in Sweden, particularly Gothenburg, so quaint and pretty!

We had a nice walk thru the park and we saw a lot of other people doing the same thing! There are a lot of Hooded Crows throughout Scandinavia and Europe. They are black and grey and I think they are pretty birds!

We had a wonderful flight to Sweden!  It is a beautiful country as seen by the view as we landed!  Lots of pine trees and tons of lakes.

Feet with Rooster

After a walk along the beach, I sat down to RELAX and watch the surfers as they glided across the waves.  All of a sudden I heard ‘cock-a-doodle-doo’, I looked behind me to see this beautiful Rooster.  I quickly turned around to get a photo of him with my feet, as he walked away!

As I toured Temple Square with my cousin and her husband, I was looking around for a nice place to take a photo of the temple with the beautiful blossoms that were all around.  This was the perfect spot!

Salt Lake City, Utah (Home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) – 2016 – iPhone

The TABERNACLE was built between 1864 and 1867.  It has a seating capacity of 8,000.  It was built as a gathering place for the Saints.  It is a beautiful, inspiring building!  It’s acoustics are amazing! Notice the marble column on the right of this photo, it is actually a wooden column that was painted to look like marble.
